Our team of compassionate and knowledgeable physicians are here to be your dependable partner in health.
Our physicians treat your family as if they were their own. Their hard work and dedication to patient care is why they have been awarded MetroParents "Mom Approved Docs" year after year.
When it comes to pediatrics we have really seen it all. The practice really operates as a family, and some of the staff and physicians were even patients here growing up! We value parent's time and we see ourselves as their partners in their child’s health care.

I grew up a native Detroiter. Attended U of M and received a BA in Psychology. Graduated from Wayne State Medical School in 1975 and did 3 years of residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. I am Board Certified in Pediatrics.
Before joining Southfield Pediatrics, I practiced general pediatrics in the area for 40 years. I was also the Department Chair for Pediatrics at Providence Hospital for 10 years and on staff at Beaumont Hospital.
I have also served on four charity boards and have done 10 medical missions (Zambia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Vietnam). I hope to do more in the near future.
I am happily married to Tammy. I have 3 children of whom I am very proud (sorry about boasting).
When not involved in practicing medicine, I enjoy weight training, exercising, cooking at the local soup kitchen, volunteering, reading (not social media) and fishing. I am always honest about the size of the fish I catch…ha-ha.
I hope to meet many of you and be of service in the coming years.
